Geely is a Chinese automotive manufacturer founded in 1986 by Li Shufu. Initially focused on refrigerators and motorcycles, the company entered the automotive sector in 1997. Over the years, Geely expanded its global footprint through strategic acquisitions, most notably Volvo Cars in 2010, which marked a significant turning point, elevating its reputation and technology.

Currently, Geely is one of the world’s largest automotive groups, owning several recognized brands including Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr. Its recognition stems from its ability to combine technological innovation, design, and an efficient modular platform strategy.
