Changes in the E-Tron GT Model Lineup
The base version of the E-Tron GT has been discontinued. Now, the entry model is the new S E-Tron GT with 670 hp. The RS E-Tron GT, previously the top-of-the-line model, now occupies the middle position with a power increase from 647 hp to 845 hp. At the top of the lineup is the new RS E-Tron GT Performance with an impressive 912 hp, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
Battery and Charging Improvements
All models of the E-Tron GT 2025 use the same 105 kWh battery as the updated Taycan. The battery, weighing 1,378 pounds, offers higher capacity and efficiency, allowing for a 10% to 80% charge in 18 minutes with power up to 320 kW. Energy recovery through regenerative braking has also increased to 400 kW. Audi estimates a maximum range of 378 miles in the European WLTP cycle.
Updates in Brake and Suspension System
The E-Tron GT versions have received more powerful front brakes with 10-piston calipers. The S E-Tron GT comes with standard steel rotors, while the RS models have tungsten carbide-coated rotors, with the option of carbon ceramic rotors. Other improvements include reinforced drive axles, recalibrated electronics for torque distribution control, and new dual-valve dampers shared with the updated Taycan.
Modernized Interior and Advanced Technology
Inside, the Audi E-Tron GT 2025 features redesigned seats, steering wheel, and thresholds. The Audi digital interface now displays battery temperature, maximum possible charge rate, completion prediction, and pre-conditioning status.
Launch and Production
Pricing and launch dates information for the US market will be announced later. Production will continue at the Audi factory in Böllinger Höfe, Germany.
In conclusion, the Audi E-Tron GT 2025 brings notable improvements in performance, range, and technology, while maintaining the elegance and comfort that have made it popular.
