Ford responded to enthusiast requests by debuting the 2025 F-150 Lobo, a pickup truck completely focused on street performance, filling the gap left by the iconic SVT Lightning. Positioned as a “street truck,” it trades off-road ability for aggressive styling and asphalt performance, offered as a special package for the double-cab STX version.
The heart of the F-150 Lobo is its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, guaranteeing a commanding roar and plenty of power for urban use. Performance is managed by a standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) transmission, offering stability and versatility with selectable driving modes without sacrificing good load and towing capacity.
The design is one of its biggest assets, described by Ford as “sinister.” The pickup features a rear suspension lowered by two inches, exclusive 22-inch wheels, an aerodynamic kit, and various blacked-out details that reinforce its “muscle car” stance. The interior matches the sportiness with exclusive finishes and cutting-edge technology, including a digital dashboard and a 12-inch screen.
